Q. How can I be sure that I will be pleased with my sofa purchase?
A. All of our sofas are from top UK manufacturers with outstanding reputations for excellence and quality. We do not offer 'second-rate' sofas with poor craftsmanship and inferior design and construction. All of our sofas are designed and manufactured in the UK using experienced designers and highly skilled craftsmen to rigorous quality standards.
Our sofas are literally some of the best that you can buy. The secret of our success lies in this reputation.
Q. Can I see your sofas before I buy?
A. At Sofas for France we do not operate our own showrooms - a major factor in keeping prices competitive. However, if you are living in or visiting the UK you are welcome to visit the showrooms of our manufacturers where you will be able to see first hand the high quality of our sofas. Please contact us to make an appointment.
Q. I would like my sofa in a colour that is not offered in your fabric swatches.
A. Please let us know the colour and/or design that you prefer and if possible, we will provide you with some additional fabric samples to meet your requirements.
Q. How do I know that the sofa will suit my room size?
A. Please refer to the measurement details for the sofa of your choice. You may like to lay a tape line on the floor of your room, outlining the new sofa size to give you more perspective as to its size. Don't forget to check your doorways and access angles to your room as well to ensure access.
Q. Are the scatter cushions included with my sofa?
A. Scatter cushions are included with our sofas where specified. You may choose to have these cushions made up in the same fabric as the sofa or in a complimentary fabric. Additional scatter cushions can be ordered if required. Protective arm caps are also available.
2. Payment
Q. How can I pay for my sofa/sofabed?
A. Payment is accepted by UK cheque or bank transfer.
3. Delivery
Q. What are the delivery charges?
A. Delivery charges are £120 within the UK and £299 to France and Spain. Delivery charges are per order. Please note that additional charges may apply for difficult building access or delivery to above a first floor level.
Q. Where do you deliver?
A. We deliver to France, Spain and England. For other destinations, please contact us.
Q. When will I receive my order?
A. Your items are made to order to your specifications. Our sofas, sofabeds and leather sofas are delivered within an average of 8 weeks from time of order. We will notify you of your expected delivery date shortly after your order has been accepted by our manufacturers.
Q. What happens on delivery?
A. Your items will be taken into your house, unwrapped and the packing materials removed.
Q. Will you deliver to the second floor of my house?
A. Our costs include delivery to the ground floor only unless prior arrangements have been made with us.
4. Warrantee/Guarantee
Q. What if there is a problem with my sofa?
A. Our sofas are subject to rigorous quality standards and are unlikely to have any need of service. However, in the event that you do encounter a problem, your sofa is covered by a manufacturers construction guarantee of 2 years.
